Convertir des images
Utiliser LaTeX pose parfois «problème» à ceux qui veulent insérer des images dans leurs documents. À tort. Le soucis vient souvent du fait que le compilateur latex veut des images au format EPS alors que le compilateur pdflatex accepte des JPG ou des PNG.
La tentation est donc forte de laisser tomber le traditionnel passage latex + dvips + ps2pdf pour le plus simple pdflatex. Mais alors, c’est l’utilisation d’outils PostScript (pstricks notamment) qui devient contraignante…
Et si la solution consistait tout simplement à convertir les images dans le format que vous voulez ?
mogrify -format eps *.png
mogrify -format eps *.jpg
Et voilà, vos images sont converties au format EPS pour latex !
convert, l’outil traditionnel, peut aussi servir, comme l’autre jour, où j’ai dû convertir des fichiers PCX au format PNG :
for img in *.pcx ; do convert $img $( basename $img .pcx).png ; done
C’est beau, la ligne de commande, non ?
